Programme of School-conference

Youth School-Conference "Mathematical modeling and computer experiment in modern scientific research" will be held from 04.07.2016 to 09.07.2016.

Youth School-Conference "Mathematical modeling and computational experiment in modern scientific research" was organized and held at the initiative and with the financial support of the Russian Science Foundation (the project 15-11-30039). Co-founders of school are Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, A.M. Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of Russian Academy of Sciences, National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI", University of Montenegro (Podgorica), Moscow University for the Humanities. The school is organized as a complement to the Fourteenth International Scientific Seminar "Mathematical models and modeling in Laser-plasma processes and advanced scientific technologies" (LPpM3-2016), which is held every year in Montenegro and in 2016 it will be held in Moscow .

Youth School-Conference organized in order to familiarize young scientists, post-graduate and undergraduate students with the latest achievements in the development of numerical methods, computational algorithms, parallel technologies, formulation of problems and mathematical modeling of gas-dynamic problems, laser action and the fundamental properties of plasma as well as to organize exchange of experience and information on the achievements of young scientists, post-graduate and undergraduate students working in fields related to the study and application of methods of mathematical modeling in various fields of research and industry.

The scientific program of the Youth School-Conference includes lectures by leading experts of the largest scientific centers of Russia and foreign universities. Lectures will be adapted to a wide audience of scientists who are interested in obtaining information about these exciting fields of modern science. The scientific program also provides youth session at which young scientists will be able to make brief reports and poster presentations and participate in discussions.

Information about the lectures is available on the LPpM3 website (lppm3.ru). The working languages of the School are English and Russian.

Students at various levels, as well as young scientists, and all who desire to expand their knowledge in these areas are invited to participate in the school. Participation will be available after registration on the website of the International Scientific Seminar.

Sessions will be held from 4 to 9 July 2016 at the Moscow University for the Humanities (address: ul Yunosti 5, Moscow, Russia.). Questions may be directed to the email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

School participants are invited to register with the note "school listener" and submit one-page abstracts of reports at lppm3.ru site until May 15, 2016. For the best papers at the school for young scientists will be awarded prizes (one prize of 10,000 rubles and two of 5,000 rubles). All participants will be given the participant school certificates. Abstracts of lectures and presentations will be published in the materials of the International scientific seminar.

Participation in school-conference is free of charge.
